- Use photos rather than clipart

- you don't have to attribute the photographer...Just put "Photos courtesy of morguefile.com" on your credits slide
- Fill the whole slide with the photo and place words on top
- Try using WordArt to make your text show up better
- Use transitions with your script to enhance the meaning of the words
- Words fading in and out = mysterious, etc.
- Use transitions between slides to make a more movie-like effect
- Add music to your whole slideshow or transition sounds to emphasize certain transitions
- This site has good background music that is royalty-free and easy to download.
